Transportation to Downtown
The 15A bus leaves from the ship terminal (West terminal) and goes to the train station. But for heading downtown, it's best to transfer to a tram at the end of the docks.
Early
Head for city center at Kauppatori. See the city market. Head north two blocks to the Lutheran Cathedral for church services (on Sunday).
Noonish. Back south to take either a harbor cruise or the trip to Suomenlinna.
Also possible -- walking and shopping tours near the harbor.
Boat leaves early -- 5 ish.
